Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is hammering the federal Liberals over FedNor. Angus says on one hand the minister of FedNor says removing the ministerial position from the funding agency is good for the north. But Angus says now we’re being told FedNor will no longer pay for broadband technology across Northern Ontario. Angus says broadband technology helps bring the economies of the north into the 21st century. Angus wants the minister to explain how cancelling broadband funding is good for the north.
