A rash of break, enter and thefts have hit West Nipissing. In some cases, police have made arrests but they don’t know yet if all the crimes are connected. Force was used to break into quite a few businesses where some merchants were robbed of the contents. In two cases culprits broke the front windows of a pair of businesses but they didn’t go inside. West Nipissing police have been gathering evidence at the crime scenes and are following up on all leads as they try to make more arrests.
