This is the last weekend for holiday driving as people get together for Thanksgiving. And to make sure everyone has a safe experience, we can expect a heavy police presence on the trails, lakes and highways. OPP will be looking for distracted drivers on area highways as well as speeders and making sure people buckle up. If you’re hitting the trails, make sure you have proper insurance, a license and helmet. And if you’re on the water, everyone in your boat needs a life jacket. And regardless of what you’re operating, don’t drink and drive.
