The Liberals have brought down another budget. They’re proposing a 10-year plan they say invests in people and infrastructure. To that end they want to spend $130-billion on infrastructure over the next decade. The breakdown includes $15 billion on transportation for the GTA and $14 billion for the rest of the province and about 11 billion dollars apiece for health and education. The Wynne government is also forcing Ontarians to save by introducing a mandatory pension plan similar to the CPP. That means workers and their bosses will contribute to the fund. The budget will result in a $12.5 billion deficit and the province has now accumulated $289-billion in debt.
