A new magazine will be making the rounds of all 133 First Nations in Ontario.  It’s the Chiefs of Ontario Advocate and is designed to inform First Nations of activities they pursue.  Isadore Day, who is Ontario’s Regional Chief, says the Advocate is an education tool that all Canadians can read to learn more about First Nation issues and priorities.

The Advocate will be published bi-monthly.  The first issue has several articles with the main feature focusing on leadership roles undertaken by Aboriginal women.   Other articles focus on a veteran First Nation constable and several submissions from young people.  The magazine can be viewed by going online to Chiefs of Ontario Advocate.
