Just ahead of the Thanksgiving weekend, students in West Nipissing will be doing their part when it comes to food. Franco Cite students and staff along with help from its feeder schools will be collecting for the West Nipissing food bank. Mayor Joanne Savage says the agency needs to replenish its shelves to ensure there’s enough food on hand for those in need. The food drive takes place Wednesday night with the Human Chain and downtown parade on Thursday afternoon.
