The upcoming Cycle for Charity Ride in West Nipissing is shaping up to be a big event. At least 71 riders are registered so far for this weekend’s ride and a few more are leaning on taking part. Cyclists can either pedal 25, 50 or 100 kilometres as the raise money for the Interim Long-Term Care Unit Courtyard for the hospital. The departure point is the Caisse Populaire in Sturgeon Falls and the route takes cyclists throughout West Nipissing. No roads will be closed, but police will be out and about to ensure everything runs smoothly. The ride is this Sunday and to register, call 753-2487.
