There’s something missing from Monday’s Throne Speech. Mike Mantha, the provincial member for Algoma Manitoulin, says Franco-Ontarians were left out of the document. Mantha says there’s no mention of a designated Francophone university, something Franco-Ontarians have spent years lobbying for. The New Democrat says there are 600,000 Franco-Ontarians and that means the numbers are there to support a designated French university.
