The Sturgeon River House Museum will see some renovations and trails improved thanks to some federal funding. Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre announced $95,000 on Tuesday for the museum under the Canada 150 program. Serre says smaller communities sometimes have issues maintaining their infrastructure so it’s important that the feds are there to help out. Serre says once the work is complete, the museum should be able to attract more tourists.
