West Nipissing may have more information later this month on a sustainable funding announcement from Sudbury MPP Glenn Thibeault. The energy minister announced a round of regional grants for municipalities and West Nipissing is in line for $1.3 million. The money will be allocated over a three year period. Mayor Joanne Savage welcomes the grant saying it makes it easier for the municipality to budget or longer term projects.
