Laurentian University might be able to give us a better idea of the Earth’s crust thanks to major science grant. The federal government is giving Laurentian $49.2 million to study the differences and similarities of our crust in the first ever experiment of its kind in Canada. Laurentian’s Metal Earth initiative will carry out the work which involves 100 scientists and students.
