With school back in session the chief of the West Nipissing police has some tips to ensure the experience is safe for everyone. Chuck Seguin wants motorists to be aware of their surroundings especially during the first week when kids are excited about being back in the classroom. Seguin says the danger of hitting a child isn’t over when the bus pulls away. He says young students are still in the area so motorists need to be watchful. The chief adds everyone should give themselves a bit more time to get to where they’re going.
