Flood watches continue for region

The Ministry of Natural Resources has put the entire North Bay district including the French River under a flood watch.  Levels have dropped since Easter weekend but the ministry says they’re still high.  That means low-lying areas could potentially flood.  Meanwhile waterways in the North Bay-Mattawa region remain high and the flood watches for these regions continue.  The watches apply to the La Vase River, Duchesnay Creek, Wasi River  and waterways in the Mattawa River System.
