The Bare If Your Care event in Sturgeon Falls raised at least $2,500 on Saturday with its head shaving event. In all 14 people decided to brave the clippers. That includes members of the Michaud Levesque staff in owner Paul Levesque at Tru Hardware where the event was held. The money raised goes to the oncology department at the West Nipissing General Hospital. Y and R Hairstylist Yvon Renaud did the honours.
