A transport driver from Haileybury is looking at charges after his rig left tire debris along Highway 17 near Blind River. The East Algoma OPP stopped the 35-year-old driver after first seeing his hazard lights were on and then saw the tire debris stretched along the roadway. The weekend incident resulted in the man being charged for not having his log book up to date and having improper tires on a commercial vehicle.
