Government of Ontario investing in Sudbury mining projects

The government of Ontario is investing more than $3.5 million in six mining projects in Sudbury that are expected to create 28 jobs and spur innovation.

Accutron Instruments Inc., BESTECH, Boart Longyear Canada, Hardrock Mining Products, Rock-Tech and TesMan Inc. are all tasked with the different mining projects and will receive the funding.

Minister of Northern Development & Mines Michael Gravelle made the announcement, alongside Minister of Labour Kevin Flynn and MPP Glenn Thibeault.

MPP Glenn Thibeault says Ontario’s support of Sudbury’s mining companies will boost the local economy, create jobs and spur Northern-led innovation in the mining sector.
