They planned for several months because they believed in the “Shop With A Cop” program that aims to create positive connections between youth and law enforcement.
Organizers of the charity barbecue, Le Taxi announced yesterday that over $4,000 was raised this past Friday.
All of the money will go to the “Shop With A Cop” program which sees members of the West Nipissing Police Service team up with deserving students from area schools just before Christmas for a day of fun, food and Christmas shopping.
