There’s a new associate medical officer of health at the Sudbury and District Health Unit. Doctor Ariella Zbar’s appointment just needs the rubber stamp from the Ministry of Health. The position Zbar will fill has been vacant for three years. The board says it’s always tough attracting health care professionals north. Zbar comes from the Queen’s University public health and preventative medicine program.
