The two men involved in the Wahnapitae shooting Friday morning have bail hearings today. The men, in their mid-20s, are charged with several offenses including attempted murder. Friday’s incident started around 7:00am with a shooting at a home in the town east of Sudbury where one man was seriously injured.
The shooters drove away and a short time later police found their getaway car abandoned in Sudbury’s east end and a handgun nearby. Later Friday afternoon, a heavily armed tactical unit surrounded a Sudbury home and a short time later two men were arrested. At last report, the man who was shot was stable.
