The head of KWG isn’t apologizing over a video that has two women dressed in bikinis and short pants promoting the Ring of Fire. The women shot the video at a cottage in Haliburton unknown to KWG but on behalf of the company and listed numerous facts about the chromite site. KWG president Frank Smeenk says the video is raising awareness about the Ring of Fire.
But the former national director of Mining Watch Canada is denouncing the video as disgusting and filled with exaggerations. Joan Kuyek says one claim that the Ring of Fire is worth $60-billion still has to be proven. The video is now on YouTube.
