Information is coming out about an explosives incident at a gold mine northeast of Timmins. On Sunday, employees found mining explosives at the Lake Shore Gold Bell Creek Mine and evacuated the site. A 20-year-old man has been arrested and faces an explosives-related charge. However Timmins police are saying very little else about the incident. The accused is free on bail and has another court appearance next week.
