This would have been the week that West Nipissing would normally hold the annual Step Dance and Fiddle Festival. But it’s the first time in 20 years that Goulard Park won’t see any step dancing or fiddle activity. That’s the result of organizers Charlie and Brigitte Lang retiring from the event they’ve put together for years. However there is a spirit of country music in downtown Sturgeon Falls this week. Odeon Bingo has its annual Country Fest on its patio all this week until Sunday.
