There’s a new superintendent at the North-East Francophone public school board. The appointee is Irene Charrette. Charrette has 35 years of education experience including time with the Ministry of Education. Earlier in her career, Charrette was a teacher and principal with the Nouvel Ontario Catholic board. North-East board describes Charrette as a person with strong leadership and keen organizational skills.
