Verbal argument in North Bay home turned violent and a man has been charged

A 29-year-old North Bay man faces domestic assault charges after a verbal argument with his female partner.  North Bay Police Service says it’s alleged that last Monday, the verbal argument in their shared home turned violent when the man threw a pop can at woman and pushed her resulting in non-life threatening injuries.  It is also alleged that he assaulted the victim on a separate occasion in their residence in the past and is accused of damaging her cell phone on another occasion in the past following a verbal argument.  He is charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, and mischief under $5,000.  He was released from custody and will face those charges in court on Wednesday.
