LCBO locations in Sudbury and Nipissing Districts are gearing up for the annual United Way fundraising campaign. Starting today and until August 7th, customers will be invited by LCBO retail staff to donate $2, $5 or $10 to their local United Way when they check out. Community Capacity Coordinator Katina Matheson says the LCBO is a long-time supporter of United Way and continues to play a significant role in the overall success of the campaign. In 2015, LCBO customers and employees in the Sudbury and Nipissing Districts raised more than $140,000 that helped support 60 social service programs within both districts.
