Two men face charges after drugs and weapons found in a Bonfield residence

Police have uncovered fentanyl powder during a search warrant in Bonfield Township.  North Bay OPP with the assistance of the North Bay Police Service, and the Northeast Region Drug Enforcement Unit searched a residence on Truck Road on Sunday.  The search found a quantity of fentanyl powder, ammunition, and a stun gun which resulted in two men being charged.  A 36-year-old man faces a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and possession of ammunition against a probation order.  He was held for a bail hearing and will face his charges at a later date.  A 25-year-old man was charges with possession of a controlled substance and he was released from custody, but face that charge in court next month.
