Ontario Northland has picked up a refurbishment contract worth nearly $20-million. The contract covers four years and involves refurbishing luxury rail cars from Vancouver. The ONR is hiring 50 people right away to do the work and another 30 will be added over the life of the contract. Mayor Al McDonald says the contract signals a bright future for the ONTC.
