It’s taken a year of consultations, but West Nipissing finally has four Community Welcome Signs ready to go in four of its communities. They are Verner, River Valley, Field and Cache Bay. Each sign showcases natural highlights and landmarks specific to each community.
For example, the Verner sign has images of a plough and grain silos to reflect its agriculture. All four designs were created by Howie Longfellow of Crimson Paper in Field. The signs can be seen on the municipality’s website at www.westnipissing.ca
