Northern Ontario woman wins triple crown championship

A resident of Northern Ontario has won the women’s national triple jump championship.  Caroline Ehrhardt of Espanola won the title for the fifth time in six years over the weekend in Edmonton.  The 24-year-old did it with a jump of 12.97 metres.  Ehrhardt won’t qualify for this year’s Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, but she believes she’ll be a strong contender to make the 2020 games in Tokyo.
