The president of the federal NDP riding association for Nipissing Timiskaming says the Trudeau Liberals are failing Canadians on the postal dispute. Kathleen Jodouin says Justin Trudeau was supposed to give us a better system than what the Harper Tories left behind. But she says this isn’t happening.
Canada Post wants an arbitrator to settle the dispute, but Jodouin says the feds can tell it to negotiate with the union in good faith. Jodouin also says it’s clear the Liberals don’t support pay equity otherwise female postal carriers in rural areas would not be making 28 percent less than their male counterparts in the city.
