D.A.R.E. graduates more West Nipissing students

The D.A.R.E. program in West Nipissing has graduated 135 Grade 5 students from area schools.  D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education and is designed to teach kids to say no to drugs.  It also instructs them on how to avoid violence and not to give into peer pressure.  In addition, the program also fosters a positive attitude towards police agencies and creates respect for the law.  D.A.R.E. is taught to young students over a nine week period.
