Tax season may be over, but the CRA scam continues and it’s creating problems for the OPP. OPP communication centres across the province are being inundated with calls from the public about the scam. They’re telling dispatchers that someone pretending to be from the CRA called to say they own the tax man money. The OPP say you don’t have to call the comm centres to say you’ve been contacted by the fraudsters. They only want to hear from victims of the scam.
