NDP: FedNor denying broadband applications

A Northern Ontario New Democrat says the lack of broadband funding in the north proves again why FedNor needs to be a standalone agency.  Charlie Angus of Timmins – James Bay says it seems FedNor has been denying broadband investment applications.  He adds rejected applicants are being told to apply to the Connecting Canadians program.  But Angus says this means another two-year wait and he’s asking the feds why the applications to FedNor are being denied in the first place.
