The fire ban has been lifted in three more municipalities in Nipissing District. Mattawa, East Ferris and Chisholm no longer face a prohibition on open fires. They join North Bay, Powassan, West Nipissing and Temagami who had their fire orders lifted earlier. Some recent rain is allowing municipalities to ease up on the order.
