West Nipissing police are dealing with several break-ins in Sturgeon Falls. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says in one case, a business had several chain saws ripped off and a GPS. Police are still looking for the culprit. In another business break-in, this one on Front Street, some money was stolen but St. Pierre says police made a quick arrest.
St. Pierre says in a separate break-in at a Main Street apartment in Sturgeon Falls, thieves stole a flat screen TV, a video console game unit and some booze. St. Pierre also says some camps in the Highway 575 area were also broken into. Meanwhile, police are looking for whoever stole a woman’s fentanyl prescription. St. Pierre says used incorrectly, the drug can kill.
