A big year for the annual Sturgeon River House Museum Top 50 Pike Fishing and Texas Horseshoe tournament. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Sturgeon Falls Curling Club. There were 95 registered boats and close to 200 anglers at the weekend tournament.
Marc Pitre and Mark Obyrn came in first place and won nearly $6,000.
The “Boss of the Toss” at Texas Horseshoes was won by Marc Lecuyer and Jean Danis won the overall Texas Horseshoe tournament.
