Residents of Verner are being notified their water treatment plant is not able to keep up with the water demand. Due to the dry weather the municipality is asking residents to abide by the lawn watering by-law.
This goes for residents of Cache Bay, Springer and Sturgeon Falls as well.
Those with an even numbered address may water their lawn on even numbered dates, and vice versa for odd numbered addresses.
They also ask that you water your lawn sparingly to minimize evaporation.
