Local authors and publishers can get provincial recognition

Two provincial awards are up for grabs for local authors and publishers.

The Young Authors Award is given to authors aged 18 to 30 who offer a youthful perspective to Ontario’s writing scene. This award has been recognized since 2014.

The Speaker’s Book Award will be given to any author who covers historical, regional, cultural or parliamentary aspects of the province.

You have until Friday, September 30th to submit your entry.

The winner will be announced at an awards reception in the Ontario Legislature next spring.
