FONOM generally pleased with cabinet shuffle

For the most part, the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities likes the Wynne Liberal cabinet shuffle.  However, the one area that concerns it is moving Bill Mauro from natural resources to municipal affairs.  FONOM says Mauro, who represents Thunder Bay-Atikokan, understands how important forestry is to Northern Ontario.

But FONOM is pleased that northern development and mines stays with Michael Gravelle who it calls a champion of the north.  And it also likes that the energy minister is a northerner in the form of Glenn Thibeault, the MPP for Sudbury.
