A good chunk of students in Nickel Belt will get work this summer. Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre says that’s because of a federal grant that will create 302 summer jobs. Serre says students have to be 15 to 30 years old to qualify. In total, the feds are spending $662,000 to create jobs. Serre says the summer work will give students valuable skills they can use in their future careers.
