NDP: Still no progress on Lyme disease strategy

The New Democrat for Algoma Manitoulin isn’t giving up on pursuing a strategy in the province for Lyme disease.  Mike Mantha’s Private Members’ Bill to develop a comprehensive strategy on Lyme passed more than 18 months ago.  However Mantha says to this day, the provincial government has yet to develop a strategy.  Lyme is transmitted to people by ticks and can cause a variety of sicknesses including heart and neurological problems.
