It’s another successful Relay for Life in West Nipissing. Friday’s event in Sturgeon Falls brought in about $25,000. Hundreds of participants and volunteers took part in the six hour walk to raise money for cancer research. Money came in through sponsorships, pledges and the sale of luminaries. The estimated 25-G’s is going to be a minimum. That’s because it doesn’t include the Cache Bay Bingo and the Verner to Lavigne Relay for Life which takes place this Saturday.
