The Municipality of West Nipissing is doing its part to boost blood donations. It’s sponsoring the upcoming blood drive in an effort to increase units. Mayor Joanne Savage says the goal is to reverse a recent trend where Canadian Blood Services has seen a drop in blood collections. Savage says giving blood is a worthwhile endeavour because it saves lives. The clinic is June 14th at the recreation centre and the goal is to collect 356 units.
