North Bay nearly sweeps women’s awards

It was almost a clean sweep for North Bay at the annual Influential Women of Northern Ontario awards.  The community won in five of seven categories including Executive of the Year which went to Corina Moore, the president of Ontario Northland.  City Hall’s Karin Pratte was named Tradeswoman of the Year and the top business was Royal Lepage.

The other winners were Sheri Tomchick, the founder of Plan A Health Care Staffing Solutions, who was named Entrepreneur of the Year and taking the Young Entrepreneur award was the owner of the Kitchen Gallery, Kristin Lowe.        The event had 88 nominees for influential woman from across Northeastern Ontario.
