Whittle retires from police for second time

Ted Whittle has retired for good with the North Bay police.  Last Friday was his last day with the department in a career that began 41 years ago in 1972.  Whittle first hung up his badge in 2008 as a staff sergeant.  But in 2010 he came back to the police as a civilian to handle media relations and outreach programs.  Whittle says he’s enjoyed every aspect of policing over the decades but now he’s looking forward to spending time with his grandson.
