Climate change legislation disappoints regional chief

Ontario`s Regional Chief is disappointed with the Wynne Liberals and their climate change legislation.  Isadore Day says the legislation was passed without any input from First Nations.  Day says it`s a new age and the provincial government needs to treat First Nations as equal partners on issues like climate change.

Day says as a result of not getting an Aboriginal point of view, climate change legislation will have negative effects for First Nations.  Also Day agrees with the group that represents Ontario First Nations on the same issue.  The Nishnawbe Aski Nation says the legislation is a misleading and misguided approach to a green economy.
