Northeastern Ontario should benefit a bit more from the New Building Canada Fund. Anthony Rota, the MP for Nipissing – Timiskaming, says it`s because the program has been expanded to include more areas. Rota says the fund can now be accessed by municipalities for its buildings. Money is also available for areas like culture, recreation and tourism. Rota says the expansion will improve the region`s infrastructure over the next decade.
