Work is progressing in West Nipissing to create community signs. Mayor Joanne Savage says the municipality got initial feedback from residents in the surrounding communities. The suggestions have been worked into the signs.
However Savage says there’s one more step before actually creating the signs and that’s to solicit community input one more time before finalizing the look of the signs. The goal is to have the signs up in the various communities by the end of summer. Council has set aside $28,000 for the project.
