Last year West Nipissing hosted the Firefighters Association of Ontario Conference and Trade Show. And now the municipality wants to host the same event next year. Mayor Joanne Savage says bringing back the event would be good news for local firefighters and will benefit from the networking. Fire Chief Richard Maranda asked council to endorse hosting the conference again which it did.
