CUPE calls for changes to long-term care homes

The president of the North Bay and District CUPE Council says there needs to be some fundamental changes in the province’s long-term care homes.

Henri Giroux is calling for a four hour daily care standard to be legislated by the Ontario government. He says the province must increase their funding and staffing levels to achieve quality care for residents.
